William F. Rajk

William F. Rajk, age 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019.  He was born on January 27, 1933 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was raised by his late parents, Frank and Catherine Zalek. 

Bill served honorably in the United States Army and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.  He retired from IPL with over 28 years of service and was a member of the Msgr. James M. Downey Council 3660, Knights of Columbus.  For many years he was a regular for breakfast at Flapjacks after retirement and became the unofficial coffee pourer. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Frances M. (Sallinger) Rajk; children, Chivonne Kelly (Brian) and Michael Rajk (Linda); sister, Anna Bittner (Edwin); and grandchildren, Alexia, William, Sarah, Lauren and Alexander. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. in St. Jude Catholic Church with visitation prior from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
