William "Bill" Arthur Cochran Sr.

William “Bill” Arthur Cochran, Sr., 48, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 surrounded by family and friends in Eskenazi Hospital.  He was born on June 30, 1969 in Indianapolis to the late George Cochran and Naomia “Carolyn” (Robbins) Green. 

He worked for over 23 years at American Tent & Awning and was currently a vice president.  Will was especially good with children; he was a father figure in many young lives who were missing an active dad. 

Will was a loving husband of 22 years to his wife, Anna (McCutcheon) Cochran; devoted father to his children, Britteny McCutcheon, William “Bub” Arthur (Britney) Cochran, Jr. and Ashley (B.J.) Cline; sisters, Mary Green, Judy (Charlie) Sullivan and Nancy Green; brother, Frank Green; loving Mother-in-Law, Ruth Sullivan; cherished grandchildren, Hope Michelle Cochran, William Arthur Cochran, III and Haylee Green; and numerous “adopted” children and grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; and sisters, Carol Green and Molly McGreevy. 

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.   A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Brother Earl Humphrey officiating.  Additional visitation will take place prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Concordia Cemetery with pallbearers, William A. Cochran, Jr., Chris Spears, David Spears, B.J. Cline, John Lee Green, Walter Green, Jeremy Chadwick and Dalton McCutcheon. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to assist with final expenses at the funeral home and cemetery.
