Allie Lynn Parker

Allie Lynn Parker, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at I.U. Methodist Hospital.  She was born on January 7, 1960, in Plainfield, Indiana, and was raised by her late grandmother, Mildred Parker. 

Allie was first and foremost a kind and loving mother, putting her children first in everything she did.  She was outgoing, kind and loving, she loved to cook and take care of her family and friends.  Allie was hardworking and always went above and beyond when it came to taking care of others.  She will truly be missed. 

Survivors include her children, Mildred, Angela, Jimmy, Dirk, Kirk, Henry, Rico and LaShanda Gibson; sister, Louise Williams; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mildred Parker; mother, Hanna Parker; son, Cord; and brother, Frank Parker. 

A service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, September 22 at 11 a.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, with visitation prior the service starting at 10 a.m.  Cremation will follow services in keeping with Allie’s wishes.
