Angela C. Kriese, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born on May 31, 1928 to the late Carl and Cecilia C. (Johantgen) Eschenbach.
Angela was the world’s greatest grandmother; she loved to crochet, play euchre, Wii bowling and dominos. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader when her children were young and was a member of the Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Richard R. Kriese; her siblings; and grandson, Noah Kriese. Survivors include her children, Richard (Melissa), Cindy (George) Maude, Mark (Laura Ploughe), Laura, (Kate Stephenson), Kurt (Michele Burns) and Christopher (Lorena); grandchildren, Samuel Kriese, Jennifer (Steve) Carlin, Jill Maude, Stephen (Makenzie) Maude, Josh (Anna) Kriese, Emily Kriese, Angela Ploughe, Jacob (Erin) Kriese and Rachel (Brian) Fishback; great-grandchildren, Jack, Ellie, Nicholas, Ijah, Lucy, Elle-Jay, Simon, Paxton, Jayvyn, Noah and Sibylla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., with one hour of visitation prior in the church starting at 10 a.m. Inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis, IN 46225.
