Angelo Gonzalvo Ablog, 55, of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 next to his oldest son. He was born on November 7th, 1965 in Manila, Philippines to Angel and Lily Ablog. He was the 2nd oldest of 4 children, and only son.
Angelo was a graduate of the Butler University School of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist for over 25 years. Angelo was an incredible man. He was a very accomplished ballroom dancer, soccer coach, and pharmacist, but that was nothing compared to the accomplishments of his family. He was a very loving and supporting husband and father. His greatest dance partner was his beautiful wife, Colleen Ablog. They were married for 25 years and had 2 sons (AJ 26 and Danny 19). Angelo was very involved in both of their lives, he loved coaching and attending their soccer and lacrosse games. He was also a very successful ballroom and eventually started teaching at Butler University for over 20 years. Alongside sports he loved music, either dancing, singing, or playing piano. He also loved to act. He has been in numerous of his oldest son AJ’s short films. Angelo had an electric personality and was loved by many.
Survivors include his Mother, 3 sisters, and two sons.
Cryptside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Court of the Apostles Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery – 425 West Troy Avenue Indianapolis. Entombment will follow services.
