Anna Christine (Asbury) Herzog

Anna Christine Herzog, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, 2025.  She was born in Danville, Kentucky on May 21, 1937, to the late George and Lilly (Rigney) Asbury. 

Anna retired from Western Electric after 44 years of service.  She enjoyed floral arranging, having a good time with family and friends and was known to be blunt when she needed to be.  Anna had a great sense of style and was a loyal friend to many.  She will be missed by her family and close friends. 

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jeremy Alstott, Amanda Throckmorton and Angie Throckmorton.  She was preceded in death by her son, Michael (Anita) Alstott; her parents, George and Lilly Asbury; siblings, Bud, Shorty and Sylvia; and grandson, Mikey Throckmorton. 

Family and friends will gather at Concordia Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. for a graveside service with Pastor Ed Carr officiating.
