Anna Della (Robbins) Jones

Anna Della (Robbins) Jones, 73, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  She was born on August 26, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana to the late Russell A. and Martha K. (Wereneke) Robbins. 

Her greatest joy was her family, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Anna loved to sew and quilt.  She was the owner of Ann’s Styles and Smiles Hair Salon and loved serving her clients. 

Survivors include her loving and devoted children, Robbin A. Houston (Kevin) and Robert E. Jones, Jr. (Hannah Gonthier); grandchildren, Joanna Renee Brothers (Jason), Macey Elden (Jeremy), Levi Johnson-Williams, Logen Williams-Jones, Brittany D’Angelo and Sarah D’Angelo; great-grandchildren, Faith Brothers, Ayden Manlove, Makenna Curtis, Issac Elden and Willow D’Angelo; granddog, Sophie; and her new goldendoodle companion of four months, Daisy. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert “Bob” E. Jones; her parents; and brother, Russell A. Robbins, Jr. 

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 7 from 11 to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral Home, 1458 S. Meridian St.  Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. before going in procession to St. Roch Catholic Church for Mass.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church, 3600 S. Pennsylvania St., with Rev. Douglas Hunter officiating.  Burial will follow in Concordia Cemetery.
