Audrey Elaine (Hapner) Wiese

Audrey Elaine Wiese, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.  She was born on August 16, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late Osa Charles and Margaret (Tonkin) Hapner. 

Audrey was a devoted homemaker, loving wife and mother.  For many years, she and her husband, George, were members of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.    

Survivors include her children, David Martin (Debra), Deborah McAllister (William), Kathryn Frazer (Samuel), Phillip Watz (Robin), Jo Ann Johnson (Haven), George Wiese III (Jerlin) and Robert Wiese (Carrie); sister, Bonnie Huber; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Wiese, Jr.; and brother, Charles Hapner. 

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  A funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home with Pastor Ray Smith.  Inurnment:  Concordia Cemetery.
