Barbara Jean (Counts) Alexander

Barbara Jean Alexander, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at home.  She was born on June 7. 1932 in Indianapolis to the late Charles C. Counts and Juanita (Paxton) Louden. 

Barbara graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and was devoted to her family.  Her greatest joy was in helping care for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Survivors include her daughter, Tami Wilkerson; granddaughters, Stephanie Wilkerson and Shawna Greathouse; and great-granddaughters, McKenzie Greathouse and Summer Abney.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ronald E. Alexander.
