Bonnie Mae (Davis) Rogers, age 75, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. The daughter of Harold D. and Doris M. (Levi) Davis, Bonnie was born Thursday, August 30, 1945 in Indianapolis.
A homemaker, Bonnie was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Beech Grove. She enjoyed reading books on Amish and Jewish culture, watching soap operas, listening to music and dancing. The joy of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert E. Rogers of Indianapolis, whom she married on Sunday, February 18, 1962 in Indianapolis; daughters, Robin A. (husband Kevin) Sleek of Indianapolis, Stephanie D. (husband Steve C.) Gyetko of Indianapolis, Dawn Y. Rogers (husband Allen Masters) of Indianapolis, Teresa M. Medina of Mooresville, Atonia L. (husband James) Fulce of Indianapolis, Shahona Y. (wife Shelly) Rogers of Indianapolis; brother, Bill Davis of Columbus, IN; sister, Diana (husband Don) Potter of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Samantha Maldovan, Dominick Maldovan, Shakiya Gyetko Timpe, Shanae Gyetko Anderson, Stephan Rogers Gyetko, Cheyenne Medina, Lucio Medina, Ashdon Rogers, Stephanie McDaniel and Perry Jordan; great-grandchildren, Amyah Mays, Thomas Richardson, Kayman Timpe, Delcan Anderson, Lydia Jordan, Sabrina Jordan and unborn Medina. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by brother, Dickie Davis.
Memorial services will be conducted 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, where family and friends may gather from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
