Brenda Jane (Ray) Cutting

Brenda Jane Cutting, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 in the Roudebush VA Medical Center.  She was born on July 5, 1954 in Indianapolis to the late Ollen and Natoma (Stroup) Ray. 

Brenda was a graduate of Ben Davis High School.  During her professional career she had worked for Hartwig Transit and, prior to that, the U.S. Postal Service.  She loved her children and grandchildren, gardening and nature.  Brenda knew many holistic remedies and treatments. 

Survivors include her children, Tascha Jeffries (Brandon) and Cory Cutting; brothers, Kevin Ray (Mary Ann), Stan Ray (Karen) and Doug Ray; grandchildren, Kelsey Keller (Christian), Dylan Cutting and Trenton Clifton Cutting; and great-grandchildren, Braxton Keller and Emilia Keller. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A service will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Loral Tansy officiating.  Following services, a celebration of life will continue from 7 to 10 p.m. at Big Daddy’s, 2536 S. Meridian St.
