Brett Edward Kassing

Brett Edward Kassing, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born on August 8, 1963 in Beech Grove, Indiana.

Brett was a 1982 graduate of Decatur Central High School. Brett worked in the hospitality industry, serving as the director of catering of his own catering business. He took immense pleasure in helping others, going to art museums, purchasing art, and collecting lighthouses. Brett was a member of Life Point Church.

Brett is survived by his mother, Betty Trusty Kassing of Indianapolis; father, Robert Kassing, Sr.; brother, Robert Kassing, Jr. of Indianapolis; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Randall Norris of Port Charlotte, Florida; niece and her husband, Kaitlyn and Casey Leedy of Indianapolis; nephews, Wesley R. Lepper and Randall L Lepper, both of Indianapolis; great-niece, Lila Leedy; great-nephew, Jace Leedy; step-nephews, Joshua Norris, Cody Norris and Jacob Norris; step-great-niece, Olivia Norris; and step-great-nephew, Aiden Norris.

Per Brett’s wishes, his cremated remains will be placed into the ossuary at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
