Brian Scott Johnson, age 57, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1965 in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Mickie (Guinn) Johnson. Brian was a graduate of Perry Meridian High School, Class of 1983 and Purdue University.
Brian was a certified public accountant who had an independent practice in Indianapolis. He had a kind soul and always meant well in spite of the decisions he made. Brian loved baseball and bowling and had a very close relationship with his mother, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include his siblings, Harold “Gene” Johnson (wife, Terri), Kimberly Whitlow (husband, John) and Dale Guinn (wife, Lesa); nieces and nephews, Courtney Johnson, Kyle Johnson (wife, Ashley), Josh Whitlow, Jatonna Perry (husband, Josh), Andrea Yount (husband, Mason), Roger Guinn and Joelie Guinn; and a host of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janie Powers.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St. No formal services will be held and cremation will have already taken place as per his wishes.
