Brian Kevin Smith

Brian Kevin Smith, 61, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Evergreen Crossing. He was born on August 6, 1962, in Indianapolis to the late Charles Robert Smith and Norma Edith Kelly.

Brian was a graduate of Cardinal Ritter High School, class of 1980, and attended Marion University and I.U.P.U.I. He was a devoted member of SS. Peter & Paul Cathedral. Brian loved listening to jazz and watching baseball. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, reading books, completing complex puzzles and watching Jeopardy. After working full-time at several different automotive parts supply companies, Brian worked part-time at Landmark Theaters and enjoyed his co-workers. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his siblings, Brenda (Paul) Dixon, Brett (Natalie) Smith and Brent Smith; niece, Kelley Smith; Nephews, Derris (Yolanda) Harrison and Damon Harrison; and great-nephew, Boston Harrison.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Cathedral, 1347 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, with visitation one hour prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. Rev. James M. Brockmeier will celebrate the Mass. Inurnment: Concordia Cemetery.
