Britney Ann Carpenter left this world unexpectedly, at the age of 31, on November 10, 2020 as a beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 13, 1989 to Lisa Ann (Schuster) Christopher and grew up in Mooresville, IN where she graduated from Mooresville High School.
Britney loved music, singing, long drives and being with those she cared for most. She was feisty and outgoing, but she was also introverted at times, and would do anything for anyone. We will always remember her most beautiful smile that could light up any room and her beautiful blue eyes that could melt your heart. She always had a charm about her that would draw people her way, whether they were strangers or friends. She stood up for those who were unfortunate, was a dreamer and always tried to see the good in others. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed every day.
Britney is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gerald Joseph Schuster, daughter, Destiny Ann Delaney and partner, David Michael Delaney. Britney is survived by her children, Autumn Natalie Delaney, Xander Michael Barnes and Bentley Joseph Carpenter; mother, Lisa Ann Christopher (Brian); father, Jeffrey Stephen Riddle; grandmother, Marilyn R. (Niehaus) Schuster; siblings, Krystall L. DeBoy (Joe), Natalie M. Wall (Sean), Amber M. Riddle, Amanda K. Riddle and Ashley A. Riddle; aunts, Nancy L. Saksa (Brett), Karen S. Westerfield (David), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service celebrating her life following at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to United Methodist Open Door at www.umopendoor.org or the Lord’s Diner at www.thelordsdiner.org with Britney Carpenter listed in the Tribute/Memorial Section. You may also leave any kind words in this same section.
