Carolyn Virginia Creasy, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1945, in Birmingham, Alabama, and was lovingly raised by her mother, Brownie L. Rush.
Carolyn was a proud graduate of George Washington High School, Class of 1963. She went on to work as a dietary supervisor in a nursing home, where her kindness and steady presence touched many lives. Creative and full of spirit, she enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and singing her beloved gospel songs. A devoted member of Blain Avenue Holiness Church, Carolyn was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
She cherished her family deeply and was known for her wonderful sense of humor. Carolyn loved to joke, laugh, and bring joy to those around her.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Aleta) Howard and Troy Creasy; her sister, Lucy Zubrickey; many grandchildren; and several great‑grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tina Creasy Hughes; and her brother, Dale Rush.
