Carolyn Irwin Obituary

Carolyn Sue Hutchings Irwin, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Franciscan Health Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1952 in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Jewell F. (Pike) Bullock.

Carolyn worked for Amtrack in Beech Grove prior to her disability as a carman. She was a member of the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) and loved to gamble and spend time with family. Carolyn loved her family and was a loving and devoted mother to her children.

Survivors include her children, Teresa White (Jason Long) and Darrel L. Hutchings, Jr.; siblings, Judy Bullock, Sharon (Jimmy) Willhote, Harold Bullock, Linda Cameron and Irene (Roger) Gulley; and several nieces, nephews and grand fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Bullock; and siblings, John Henry Bullock and Betty Rist.
No services will be held in keeping with her wishes.
