Carolyn Jean (Stinson) Miller, 81, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her Indianapolis residence. Carolyn was born March 15, 1940 in Indianapolis to the late Vestal Stinson and Patricia (Heidenreich) Vire.
A homemaker, Carolyn loved to play Bingo and going to the casino. At home, she enjoyed watching the game shows and the daily soap operas. She took pleasure in listening to country music and going to concerts. Carolyn loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking for them. She did not want folks to go hungry.
Carolyn is survived by children, Bobby L. Lynn, Jeff W. Lynn, Connie J. New, James (Dora) Miller, Helen Inman and Kay Miller King; brothers, Vestal “Butch” (Brenda) Stinson, William Russell “Rusty” Vire; sisters, Ruby Darlene Rambo, Patricia “Patty” Gilchrist; grandchildren, Tonya {Berry} Marks, Natasha Nix, Robert Russell “Rusty” Lynn, Johnny (Candy) Deane, Dawn (Kevin) Coons, Christy Willingham and Joe Miller; great-grandchildren, Bryce Marks, Haley McDonough, Berry J. Marks Jr., Zoey M. Lynn, Piper Lynn, Brandon Deane, Courtney Vasquez, Shane Willingham Jr., William Bufore Jr., Iszora Rice, Dalton Goodale, Garrick Miller and Keagan Miller; great-great-grandson, Camden VanWye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Miller and Eldon Lynn; brothers, Thomas Vire and Larry Vire; sisters, Kathy Grayless and Penny Sue Vire.
Family and friends may gather from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street, where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow services at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
