Charles Glen Collins, Jr.

Charles Glen Collins, Jr., 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Community Hospital South.  He was born on September 21, 1946 in Clarksburg, Virginia to the late Charles G. Collins, Sr. and Aritha (Cunningham) Collins.

During Charlie’s working career he had worked at A-1 Compressor and Freedom Express as well as starting his own business as a drywall contractor.  He was devoted to his family and was a good provider. 

Survivors include his children, Alethea (John) England, Janet Moreno, Chrystal Rackemann and Donald (Pam) LaRussa, Jr.; brother, John Collins; sisters, Evelyn, Terry and Penny Collins; and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death his wife, Violet “Bonnie” Collins; and children, Kenneth Stephens, Bill Rackemann and Carolyn Rackemann. 

Charlie asked that he be cremated and quietly buried next to his beloved wife, Violet “Bonnie” Collins in Concordia Cemetery.
