Charles Robert Stahl

Charles Robert Stahl, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was born on August 19, 1949, in Beech Grove to the late James M Stahl, Sr. and Annabelle (Alhand) Stahl.

Chuck was a graduate of Chartrand High School and Marian College. He was an incredibly talented display designer for years with his biggest client being the Fashion Mall in Indianapolis.  Chuck was a floral designer for McNamara earlier in his career, he enjoyed charity work and loved diamonds and all shiny things.  He enjoyed working with his flowers and loved collecting lamps.  He will be truly missed. 

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Linda L. (Shivers) Stahl; son, Bradley A. Stahl; daughter, Ashley N. Clark; siblings, Dr. Gerald (Paula) Stahl, Thomas (Carol) Stahl, Kathleen Arkins and Joan Stahl. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James M. Stahl, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 24 at 11 a.m. in Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N. 17th St., Beech Grove, with visitation prior in the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph/Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
