Dana Sue (Fortner) Montgomery

Dana Sue Montgomery, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020.  She was born on October 10, 1948 in Linton, Indiana to the late Carlos “Jack” Fortner and Evalena (Hendricks) Wratten. 

Dana was a homemaker who loved being around family and friends.  She loved the karaoke parties her son, Joey, hosted in her home. 

Survivors include her children, Gary (Tina) Fortner, Joey, Angie, Ricky, and Jimmy Koker and Cindy (Ron) Anderson; grandchildren, Dakota Sanders, Brandon Koker, Kayla Anderson and Tyler Coffey. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Michael Montgomery. 

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service celebrating her life to follow at 7 p.m.  Cremation will follow services as per her wishes.
