Daniel Metko Obituary

Daniel Francis Metko, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away April 24, 2021 in Indiana University Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. The son of the late Francis John and Florence Alta (Boomer) Metko, Daniel was born December 20, 1949 in Sunnyside, Washington.

Daniel work in airport catering security for Gatesafe since 2001. He enjoyed reading and music, especially when he could play jazz on his piano.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Kathy Ann (Arnott) Metko of Indianapolis, whom he married on June 6, 2010; son, Ryan P. Conger of Indianapolis; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly L. and Jeff Witherbee of Fishers; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Bonnie Metko of Portland, OR; sisters, Marilyn Alta Snyder and Susan Altengarden, both of Lebanon, OR; grandsons, Caleb Witherbee and Maddux Witherbee, both of Fishers; In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Metko.
