David Alan Terhune

David Alan Terhune, age 34, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.  He was born on August 16, 1983 in Indianapolis.

David did many things in life. What he was most passionate about though was bringing people together and cooking. As a child he was the little fat kid always following his mom around the kitchen, as he grew up he lost the weight but never his love of food.

Survivors include his father, Dennis Alan Terhune; brother, Victor Phillips II (Carly Gossett); grandmother, Rayberta Y. McFarland; nephews and niece, Carter Osman, Hunter Phillips, James Phillips and Jadis Phillips; uncles, Don Marsh, Billy, Richard, Shannon, Shaun, Gary and Fallon McFarland; aunt, Desiree McFarland; and many cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, RoxAnne Lea McFarland; and uncles, Mark, Joe, Tony, Robert and Eric McFarland. 

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services with a service following at 3 p.m.
