Delores Anne (Ghent) Ross

Delores Anne (Ghent) Ross, age 67, of Beech Grove, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022.  She was born on February 15, 1955, in Franklin, Kentucky, to the late Melvin and Shirley (Casada) Ghent.  

Delores received her nursing degree from Ivy Tech Community College and worked for Bethany Village for many years later retiring from the Village Oaks where she was an administrator.  She loved crafts and to paint and spend time with her grandchildren.  Delores was a very faith-filled person who was dedicated to her church and family.  She loved to sing at her church and at nursing facilities around the area.  She later became a Celebrant and did funerals and weddings for family and friends. 

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Farrar (Andy); brothers, Morris Ghent (Donna) and Steven Ghent; grandchildren, Shelby Farrar (Chris Wynkoop), Jacob Farrar (Sierra), Chayse, Hunter and Katilyn McGuffin; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Brantley Farrar; and special friend, Mark.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby E. Ross; and daughter, Tabitha McGuffin; and step-father, Walter Myers.    

A celebration of her life will take place in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday April 23, 2022. Friends and Family will gather prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
