Dennis Lynch Helm

Dennis Lynch Helm, 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.  He was born on December 25, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Isom Lee and Vada Merlene (McCraken) Helm. 

Dennis was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School and the University of Indianapolis.  He retired from Olin Brass after 27 years of service.  His greatest joy was spending time with family and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Jane E. (Bittelmeyer) Helm; children, Daphine (Larry) Helm Glowner and Scott (Kelly) Christopher Helm; sister, Barbara Bohley; brother, Gary Helm; and grandchildren, Nicholas (Brenda Kiddder) Glowner, Jacob Glowner, Nathan Helm, Donovan Helm and Lincoln Helm. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., where a service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bill Byrd officiating. 

Memorial contributions have been suggested to IndyHumane or the Franciscan Hospice House.  Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
