Devin Michael Bowling

Devin Michael Bowling, 27, of Beech Grove, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Born on Saturday, July 27, 1996 in Indianapolis, Devin was the son of William H. Bowling and Sarah M Purcell Wiggington.

Devin had attended Thompson Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing video games. While in high school, he played on the soccer and wrestling teams. He most recently had worked for Kroger in the warehouse.

Devin is survived by his father, William H. Bowling of Beech Grove; his mother, Sarah M. Wiggington of Lawrence; sons, Layne Swegman-Bowling of Indianapolis, Leo Bowling of Oklahoma and Clover Bowling of Indianapolis; daughter, Violet Bowling of Indianapolis; grandparents, Jodi Vanslyke and William Baker, both of Beech Grove; brother, Patrick Purcell of Indianapolis and sisters, Sabrina Purcell and Brooke Bowling, both of Indianapolis, nieces and nephews, Salene, Evan, Cameron, Amelia, Anastazia and Spence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 South Meridian Street., Indianapolis. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
