Diana Warman Tapp
June 11, 1954 – November 22, 2024
Diana Warman Tapp, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 70.
Born on June 11, 1954, to Patricia and Buford Warman, Diana grew up in Indianapolis, where her compassionate nature and determination shaped her life. She earned her degree in social work from Indiana University in Indianapolis and dedicated her career to serving others. Through her work at the Care Center and Wheeler Mission Ministries, as well as her active involvement with Englewood Christian Church, Diana touched countless lives with her generosity, faith, and unwavering kindness.
Diana is survived by her loving partner, Tillman Toy; her sisters, Kathy (Kenny) Duncan and Crystal Kemmerlin; her children, Bruce (Wannapa) Tapp, Jason Tapp, and Laurie Tapp; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Dawn Handak; her brother, Donald Warman; and her beloved son, Jeremy Tapp.
A memorial service to celebrate Diana’s life will be held on December 20, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Englewood Christian Church in Indianapolis.
Diana’s legacy of compassion and selflessness will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
