Douglas Brent Boshears

Douglas Brent Boshears, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020.  He was born on September 13, 1963 to James F. Boshears and Sandra (Hause) Doell. 

Doug was a 1981 graduate of Center Grove High School.  He was a local driver for Fed Ex and several other firms for many years before retiring.  He was a die-hard Hoosier basketball fan and loved cheering on his sons in Little League baseball and Bantam Football right through their high school sports careers at Center Grove.

Survivors include his parents, Sandy Doell (David) of Texas and James F. Boshears (Becky) of Florida; sons, Jonathon Boshears (Rachel Durrett) of Indianapolis and James Boshears (fiancé, Lindsey Jelinek) of Lakewood, Colorado; and brothers, Bruce Boshears (DeDe) of Indianapolis, David Boshears (Emily) of Franklin and Scott Boshears (Renee) of Trafalger.  He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Boshears. 

A private gathering and graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13 in Acton Cemetery with Pastor Ron Sodrel officiating.  Due to covid-19 restrictions those in attendance must bring and wear a mask.
