Elaine Ruth (Click) Tobin

Elaine Ruth (Click) Tobin, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.  She was born on March 20, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late Walter A. and Barbara M. Click, Jr.  Elaine married the love of her life, Jan Wesley Tobin, on May 7, 1977; he survives. 

Elaine graduated from Sacred Heart Elementary School and then went on to Harry E. Wood High School where she graduated in 1975.  She worked for Ianni Insurance and the Henthorn Agency for 25 years.  Hobbies included playing games on her phone, scrabble and reading but her greatest joy was in being with her family and in spending time with her grandkids.  

Survivors include her loving husband, Jan Tobin; children, Kristina (Jeremy) Kerr, Leslie Tobin and Ryan (Amy) Tobin; siblings, Carol (Tom) White, Paul (Jo), Kevin, Jess (Rebecca), Rita (Terry) Hammond, Kimberly Young, Betsy, Robin (Darrell) Tetrick and Lenard Brown; grandchildren, Caden Kerr, Christian “C.J.” Kerr, Colton Kerr, Elijah Tobin, Samuel Tobin and Zachary Tobin.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Quiett; and granddaughter, Camrynn Kerr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 5:30 p.m.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 13 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church; prayers will be said at the funeral home prior to Mass at 10:30 a.m.  A private inurnment will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.
