Evelyn D Gearring

Evelyn Denise Gearring, 58, of Indianapolis (formerly of Gary) passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born on December 10, 1960 in Gary, Indiana to the late Jimmy and Rose Pritchett.

Evelyn moved to Indianapolis from Greenwood in 2012.

She will be remembered for her love of music which ranged from Diana Ross to old style R&B, to Gospel. Evelyn also loved animals and owned several pets throughout her life. Above all, she will be known for her caring and passionate nature as a mother who always wanted the best for her children.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Maurice Gearring of Indianapolis; her two sons, Marcel Dante Gearring (Brady Davis) of Chicago, and Ronald Maurice McMillian (Nicole) also of Chicago; her three daughters, Jaquita Denise Pittman- McReynolds ( Warren McReynolds Jr.) of Gary, Bianca Marie Gearring (Mountain) of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Monique Denise House (Robert) of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, one brother,  and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her cat companion, “Boots”.
