Frances M. Egold

Frances M. Egold, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018.  She was born on April 7, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late George L. and Alma (Hoffmark) Egold.  Frances graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She retired from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis where she worked in the office for the Propagation of the Faith.  Survivors include her brothers, George (Jo) Egold and Thomas (Becka) Egold; sisters, Helen (George) Ferree and Joey (George) Woodbury; eight nieces and seven nephews and many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dorothy Mattox and Carol Awbrey.  In keeping with her wishes, a graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery with Fr. Rodas presiding.  Memorial contributions are encouraged to Hearts & Hands of Indiana, 337 N.
