Franklin Elza Thomas Cobb, Jr., 64, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1955 in Indianapolis to the late Franklin and Sylvia (Sloan) Cobb.
Franklin was a graduate of Harry E. Wood High School in Indianapolis and served honorably in the United States Army Reserves for thirteen years. He loved to fish and was a painter for WGA Painting. Franklin was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, April, who survives.
Survivors include his wife, April (Carr) Cobb; daughter, Michelle Pierce (Marcus); siblings, Ruth Ann Lawyer, Mary Catherine Atwood and Sandra D. Giliberto; and many, many, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Mary Mae Marie Paris and Iva Jean Rogers.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating. Burial: Floral Park Cemetery
