Freya N. (Griffin) Sandoval

Freya N. Sandoval, 94, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Colonial Oaks of Marion.  She was born on April 19, 1929, in Marion to the late Raymond and Georgia (Thompson) Griffin. 

Freya was a graduate of Marion High School and an avid reader.  She was a caring and loving person who was devoted to her family and friends. 

Survivors include her grandsons, John and Dustin Sandoval; and nieces and nephews, Danna K. Lloyd Sale (Gary), Pam Turner, Jack E. Davis (Pat) and Stephen Davis.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Sandoval; sons, Noah and Daniel Sandoval; and sister, Rae Jean Davis. 

A graveside service will be held in Estates of Serenity Cemetery in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, November 22 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brad Wright of LaFountaine Christian Church.
