Geri Lynn Twitty (Rose) passed away on October 27, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 64. She was born on November 13, 1958, in Logansport, IN to Jack F Rose SR and Carol Rose-Helms. Geri was a beautiful soul, known for her giving nature and fierce loyalty to her loved ones. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, cousin,aunt, and friend.
Geri married her soulmate, James C Twitty JR, on February 15, 1997, in Indianapolis, IN. She is survived by her beloved husband, James. Geri is also survived by her brother, Jack F Rose JR, of Logansport, IN, and sister-in-law, Lois Williams, of Indianapolis, IN. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: John Rose and wife Erica (Tobi), Rick Rose and wife Emily, Jeff Rose and wife Kelly, Mark Rose and companion D'Neil Hopper, Mychael Williams, Nakia Sparks, Anthony Williams, Lisa Gibson, Robert Coe, and Bianca Twitty.
Geri's educational journey began at Logansport High School, where she graduated mid-year in 1976. She was an active member of The Lads and Lassies of Logansport, IN, and even showcased her talent as a baton twirler. Geri further pursued her studies in Food Chemistry at Purdue University.
In her professional life, Geri owned or co-owned several businesses including The Magic Bus,Back on the Bus and High on the Hill. Geri served as the CEO of Dark Side productions. She possessed excellent baking skills and loved attending festivals and events, where she sold her delicious creations and other fun items. Geri had a remarkable ability to connect with people and never met a stranger. She cherished her Minion sidekicks and her YaYa sisters.
A Celebration of Life service for Geri will be held on her birthday, November 13, 2023, at 4:20 PM. The service will take place at the Church of Cannabis, located at 3400 South Rural Street, Indianapolis, IN 46237. Doors will open at 3:30 PM to allow attendees to pay their respects. A second Celebration of Life will be held on November 19, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion, 828 Burlington Avenue, Logansport, IN 46947.

Geri Lynn Twitty will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
