Helen Louise (Michaelis) Dickman

Helen Louise (Michaelis) Dickman, 88, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was born on June 19, 1937, in Beech Grove, to the late Victor J. and Elizabeth (Feltman) Michaelis.

Helen was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, class of 1955, and went on to marry the love of her life in 1959, Donald F. Dickman, who preceded her in death on September 11, 2017. Helen retired from Kennedy Tank where she was the office manager for nearly 30 years. She loved to entertain and enjoyed spending time on the beach in sunny Florida. Helen will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her son, Patrick (Lana) Dickman; daughter, Julie Ann Kidwell; sisters, Rose Marie Pittman and Kathy (Mark) Kallaus; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Kronenberg, Kristen (Jeff) Giordanelli, Debbie Hill and Danny (Shannon) Kidwell; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Emma and Jacob Kidwell and Mason Giordanelli. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Elizabeth Michaelis; husband, Donald F. Dickman; and sister, Barbara Lohman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. in St. Barnabas Catholic Church with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
