Howard William Loggins Sr., 93, of Indianapolis, In, passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2023. He was born on May 16th, 1930, in Lexington, Alabama to the late Major T Loggins and Elizabeth Loggins. Howard was predeceased by his wife, Georgia Loggins and son Jerry Loggins.
Howard is survived by his sons, Howard Jr (Wink), Eugene (Tombo) and daughters Jenny (Scot) Redmond and Cindy (Jo) Loggins, as well as 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Howard worked for many years, first serving in the US Army before moving to Indianapolis, In, where most of his career was spent as a custodian in Warren Township where he then retired.
Howard had a passion for many things; his work, his family, gardening, and fishing. He loved to talk and always had an interesting story to tell. He never missed a field trip or sporting event for his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and spent countless hours in his garden which he loved sharing with the neighborhood.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many and he will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
