Isabella "Isabel" McGuire (Coutts) Dugan

Isabella Maguire (Coutts) Dugan, 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  She was born on October 20, 1936, in Lochwinnoch Renfrewshire, Scotland, to the late Rennie Donald and Elizabeth (Kilpatrick) Coutts. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Robert Dugan.  Survivors include daughters, Kathryn (David) Teachout, Karen (Douglas) Dugan-Gunther and Patti (Craig) Sutton; son, James E. (Beth) Dugan; grandchildren, Andrea Waterbury, Steven Waterbury, Sarah Curry, Benjamin Sutton, Daniel Sutton, James Patrick Dugan, Brian Dugan and Amanda Dugan; and great-grandchildren, Lindsay Waterbury, Addison Curry, Hadley Curry, Emerson Curry and Harvey Sutton. 

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the church with Fr. Duc Pham, O.F.M. presiding.  Inurnment will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Envelopes will be provided at the service.
