Jacob Daniel McCarthy

Jacob Daniel McCarthy, 27, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021.  He was born January 27, 1994 in Indianapolis to Paul Daniel McCarthy and Candy Lee (Hughes) Hapner. 

Jacob enjoyed playing video games and loved four-wheel drive trucks.  He was smart when it came to anything electronic on a vehicle and enjoyed building radios.  There are two things Jacob keep perfect, his shoes and his hair, anyone who knew him knew not to touch his hair or get near his shoes.  Above all he loved his family, especially his son Jaxson. 

Survivors include his long-time companion and fiancé, Candy Sue Catron; his son, Jaxson Lee McCarthy; father, Paul Daniel McCarthy (Belinda); mother, Candy Lee Hapner; siblings, Brandon McCarthy and Krystin McCarthy (Tony); and nieces and nephews, Kiley, Kayana, Brandon and Ayden. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  A service celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, October 30 at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.  Cremation will follow services.
