James "Jim" England Obituary

James “Jim” Earl England, 62, of Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.  He was born on May 12, 1958 in Indianapolis to the late William Henry and Alta Elizabeth (Harper) England.  He married the love of his life, Deborah Ann Borkes, on August 23, 1980; she survives.

Jim was the customer service manager for Gas Equipment Company and a member of the Propane Association.  He was an amazing handyman who loved to go camping, read and watch tv.  Jim loved science fiction, most especially Star Wars and Star Trek but above all he was devoted to his family. 

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Debbie England; daughters, Brittany Elizabeth (Eddie) Gonzalez, Bethany Danielle England and Breanna Nicole (Christian) Prater; siblings, Mary (Danny) Hogue and Kevin (Shannon) England; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Paul) Philhower; brother-in-law, Stephen Borkes; grandchildren, Shon and Nyla; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Jr., Michael and Keith England; sister-in-law, Ruth Borkes; and nephew, Tim Philhower. 

Due to the current pandemic, all services will be private.
