Jan Elaine Isenogle, 73, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was born in Linton, Indiana on September 3, 1952 to William R. and Mary Lou (Loffland) Isenogle.
Jan was a 20 year cancer survivor. She spent her life caring for others both professionally as an LPN and personally as a family caregiver. As a nurse, Jan's career spanned over 30 years. She worked in hospitals, nursing homes, state prison and in home health care. Later in life, when she herself lived in a nursing facility, she continued to advocate for both the other patients and the healthcare workers.
She happily cared for both parents as they aged. One of the joys of her life was caring for the daughters of her heart, nieces Leann and Natile Michael for many years.
She always thought of others first.
She loved to be out and about wherever she lived. She often took her nieces to parks and for drives in the country. She loved to shop and look for “treasures” in thrift stores and garage sales. Tea pots and tea sets became one of her favorite finds.
She is survived by her brothers, Bruce Isenogle(Kyla) and Michael Isenogle(Beth), sister, Kelly Hall(Richard) and sister-in-law Susan Isenogle as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul David Isenogle, sister-in-law Kyla Isenogle and nephews Logan Isenogle and Brandon Baker.
