Jane Elizabeth (Sharum) Austin

Jane Elizabeth Austin, 75, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at her Indianapolis residence.  The daughter of the late Reid and Edna (Gwynn) Sharum, Jane was born Friday, November 23, 1945 in Indianapolis.

A member of The Indianapolis Baptist Temple, Jane enjoyed doing crafting, writing, reading her Bible.  She loved being with her family and friends, including her pets.

Jane is survived by her children, Eric Austin of Indianapolis, Joseph Austin of Indianapolis, Bradley Austin of Ohio, Kristi Peed of Indianapolis and Angel Austin of Indianapolis; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Parke Austin on Friday, May 31, 2019.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jane’s life will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Indianapolis Baptist Temple, 4002 E Southport Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237 where family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

For those attending the services, face coverings are essential and social distancing protocols will be observed.
