Jarrett Malcolm Whitaker

Jarrett Malcolm Whitaker, 28, of Greenwood, passed away April 4. Jarrett was born to the late Jeffrey Whitaker and Kimberly Scherer on May 5, 1994 at Community Hospital South.
He is survived by his son Grayson, his siblings Justin and Jessica, his mother Kim and stepmother Deneice. He was preceded in death by his father Jeff.
Jarrett graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 2012 and spent much of his schooling in Greenwood. He loved animals, playing video games and reading books.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service at 6 p.m., Monday, April 17 at Southport Heights Christian Church, 7154 McFarland Road, Southport, IN.
