Jason Douglas Mains, 47, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in I.U. Methodist Hospital. He was born on December 5, 1973 in Indianapolis to the late Harold R. and Maysie Alice (Mason) Mains.
Jason loved NASCAR, Wrestling and Johnny Cash. He enjoyed fishing, his muscle cars and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His greatest joy was being with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Micheal Anthony Mains, Alice Lynn Mains and Austin Douglas Mains; sisters, Wendy, Crystal, Barbara, Sandy and Susie; brothers, Mark, Steve, Shane, Clifford, Eddie and Bobby; grandchildren, Moses, Armando and Athena; and the mother of his children, Esther Ontiveros. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Judy, Nancy and Betty Joe; and brothers, Cecil and Ricky.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Danny Thomas. Burial will follow in Concordia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to help the family with final expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
