Jason Roe Sturgeon

Jason Roe Sturgeon, 36, of Frederick, Maryland died unexpectedly on Monday, August 13th, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1982 in Beech Grove.

Jason will be remembered as an outgoing, warm and articulate person. His interests included playing basketball, watching sports, especially Colts football, playing pool and fishing and camping with his family. Additionally, he enjoyed playing video games, going to the movies and traveling.  He was a momma’s boy who had strong bond with his family and friends. He loved his girls and his nephews with all his heart.

He is survived by his parents, Benny and Vicki Sturgeon; his two daughters, Abigail Cummings and Shyanne White-Sturgeon as well a third child expected to be born in the near future; his sister Angela Sturgeon; his two nephews, Austin and Brycen Kremm. He is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 S. Meridian Street) with a visitation held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. Final disposition will be cremation.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Nation Alliance on Mental Illness.
