Jayden Alan Adkins

Jayden Alan Adkins, 22, Beech Grove, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  He was born on January 7, 2002, in Indianapolis, to Josh Adkins and Tiffany Strayer. 

Jayden was a graduate of Perry Meridian High School, class of 2020, where he played football and participated in theater.  He had many interests, playing online video games with his friends, skateboarding, swimming, hiking, live music, comedy and was always down to have a good time with his friends.  Jayden had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh.  He was a jokester and class clown.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.   

Survivors include, his fur baby, Brody Adkins; mother, Tiffany Strayer; father, Josh Adkins; step-father, Michael Strayer; step-mother, Kelly Adkins; siblings, Clayton Adkins, Jordan Star Adkins, Emerson Strayer, Katrina Adkins and Malachi Adkins; grandparents, Teena Adam, Beth Starker, and Joseph Adkins; Uncles, Jody Fesler, Zach Adkins and Timothy West; cousins, Alexandria Peterson, Bretton Wilson, Destiny Derby, Shelby Hutchinson, Bryce Adkins, and many more. 

Jayden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry West; great-grandparents, Barbara and Earl Adkins; brother, Christian Michael Strayer; Aunt, Brooke Peterson; and cousins, Chance Andrew Herald and Lacy Moore. 

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, May 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, May 17 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with additional visitation prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m.  Burial will follow services in Calvary Cemetery.
