Jeffrey Ray O'Neal

Jeffrey Ray O’Neal, 62, of Beech Grove, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Franciscan Hospital.  He was born on November 3, 1959 in Beech Grove to the late Jerald Lee, Sr. and Shirley Joan (Nelis) O’Neal.  Jeff married the love of his life, Janice Marie (Edwards) O’Neal on January 18, 1986; she survives. 

Jeff graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1978.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his sons and granddaughters.  He loved camping, fishing and his music.  Jeff loved motorcycles, NASCAR, played baseball and basketball in his younger days. 

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janice O’Neal; sons, Josh O’Neal and Dustin O’Neal (Kelsie); siblings, Jerald Lee O’Neal, Jr. (Maryann), Linda Sue Richardson (Guy) and Alan O’Neal (Janet); brother-in-law, Bob Naugle; granddaughters, Tessa, Addison, Audri and Ava O’Neal.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela Joan Naugle. 

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  A service celebrating his life will follow at 6 p.m.
