Jennifer "Jenny" Louise (Murphy) Kieffer

Jennifer “Jenny” Louise Kieffer, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 4, 1973, in Beech Grove, IN, to Daniel R. Murphy and Gloria Jean (Boshears) Mack.  Jenny married the love of her life, Kevin Shawn Kieffer, on September 17, 1991, in St. Michael Catholic Church. 

Jenny was a graduate of Ben Davis High School, class of 1990 and went on to become a Registered Nurse after graduating from Indiana University.  She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Kevin Kieffer; sons, Joshua (Megan), Justin (Sarah) and Joe (Merab); father, Daniel (Kristine) Murphy; and grandchildren, Elorie, Griffin and Myles.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria (John) Mack and brother, Gary Murphy. 

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 8 at 11 a.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church, 3600 S. Pennsylvania St., with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Following Mass, there will be a celebration of life at Gallaghers Pub. All are welcome in raising a pint for Jenny. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
