Jimmy Wayne Cromer

Jimmy Wayne Cromer, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021.  He was born on November 29, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late L.C. and Ruby (Hall) Cromer.  Wayne was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he stationed in Korea.  Wayne was a member of the American Legion Post 67 on Holt Road where he was active for many years. 

Survivors include his son, Ryan M. Cromer (Scott Ziegler); daughter, Stacey Evans; siblings, Faye Beaty (Bob), Danny Cromer (Brenda), Bobby Cromer (Jenny), Joan Knox (Ronnie), Robin Price (David) and Brenda Meyers (Jimmy); and six grandchildren. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, September 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, where a military honors service will follow at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
