Joan "Jo" Frances (Raftery) Shotts

Joan “Jo” F. Raftery Shotts, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, March 7,2021 in Franciscan Health Hospital.  She was born on August 5, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late John and Pearl (Cox) Raftery. 

Jo was a very dedicated and loving wife and mother who loved spending time with family and friends.  Her favorite past times were golf and playing cards.

Survivors include her children, Craig Shotts, Bryan (Jamie) Shotts and Tina Garber; sisters Martha Williams and Mary Alice (Jack) Powers; and grandchildren, Amber Wooten, Lauren Conwell, Dustin Shotts, Brandon Shotts, Micaela Saunders, Brendon Saunders and Colleen Garber; and seven great-grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 950 Prospect St., Indianapolis, IN 46203.  Inurnment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Association.  Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home at the church.  Arrangements and care are provided by Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.
