John Henry Butler

John Henry Butler, 62, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on April 14, 2025.

He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 26, 1962 to Henry and Ruby Butler.

John was an avid collector of Jordan shoes and tried to get every pair that he could. He was a lover of cars, riding his bike, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Above all, John loved his family and his many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his niece and devoted caregiver, Darlene Eward; siblings, William Butler (Kris), Samuel Butler, Janet Hill, Linda Wallace (J.W.), Jacqueline Butler (Terry Jacobs); and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rosemary Arthur.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 3pm at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation services with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from Noon until time of service.
